Meet Our Registered Care Home Manager

Emma Parkin is the Registered Manager at Holy Cross and has been working with elderly people since 2009. Starting work as a housekeeper she began working and studying simultaneously, gaining qualifications and experience to be a Carer by the time St Cuthbert’s Care took ownership of Holy Cross in 2012.
Emma’s vocation and passion inspired her to continue with further training and educational opportunities, supported by St Cuthbert’s Care, culminating with a degree in Dementia Care from Sterling University.
Her empathy, enthusiasm and dedication was recognised with positions of increasingly greater responsibility, the most recent being to that of Registered Manager in 2023. Her vast experience in all sectors of elderly care is an asset to the charity.
