Pub Grub Gets The Thumbs Up

David and Paul gave their pub grub a firm thumbs up

As the weather gets more grey and damp, what is more comforting in the wind and rain than a cosy pub lunch?

That was the approach this week for David, a resident at our Sherringham House Independent Supported Living Service, who took a trip out for some fine pub fare at the Poacher’s Cottage
in Callerton.

With brolly in-hand and alongside our Marketing and Communications Officer, Paul, David led the way to one of his favourite pubs, having visited previously with one of our Support Workers, Beth.

“A pub lunch is one of my favourite things,” said David, “and the food today definitely didn’t disappoint – I loved my scampi and chips.”

A trip out and fantastic food – we’ll say cheers
to that!
