Residents join quest for perfect ice cream

With news of another heatwave on the horizon, some of our Holy Cross nursing home residents have been experimenting to find their dream ice cream.

With spoons and ice cream tubs at the ready, our residents got together to try out different wafers, toppings and sauces to find their personal favourite.

“Plain vanilla in an ice cream sandwich is definitely my choice,” said Mary. “Simple, but it’s my absolute favourite.”

Sometimes, things don’t need any embellishment to be perfect.
