With The Great British Bake Off just around the corner, we thought it would be fun to whisk up the excitement at our St Catherine’s Nursing Home, with a bit of home baking.
Teaming up with the home’s Chef, Joe, our residents rolled out the rolling pins and rose to the challenge of making some truly scrumptious scones.
“It was so nice to do a little baking, together,” said Selma. “Although, the best part was definitely eating the bakes at the end.”
It sounds like our Star Bakers had a great time – apparently you can have your cake (or scone) and eat it, too!
