It’s always tough to say goodbye to the sunshine, so what better way to bid farewell to the summer than with a bit of a party and a barbecue?
That’s exactly what our Independent Supported Living services did recently, when Sherringham House hosted residents from across our services for a few sausages, the odd burger and a whole lot of fun. There was even a bit of a sing-song as singer, Michael Hall, gave us a sunny serenade.
When grilled, Angela, Deputy Home Manager, said: “It has been such a joy to be able to bring everyone together and have a bit of a party. Our residents loved being able to have a socially-distanced mingle, and thankfully the sun came out for us, too.”
It sounds like a lot of fun – we’re pleased to hear the barbecue was well done!
