It’s been another busy week at St Catherine’s Nursing Home, but they managed to wedge in another quality activity, as residents celebrated National Potato Day with a spot of potato printing.
Ann, Freddie, Sheila and Mary all chipped in with their own potato Picassos, using carved potatoes and paint to produce the perfect prints.
“It was really fun to get creative and mix paint with potatoes,” said Mary, “although I don’t think it counts as one of our five a day!”
Looking at that brilliant artwork, we can see why the activity was so a-peel-ing.
