St Cuthbert’s Care Recognised For Booster Programme Success

Maureen receiving her booster jab

At the end of September we brought you the news that our booster vaccine programme was underway.  We are delighted to say more than 95% of our nursing home residents and a large percentage of our staff have now had their booster.

Our swift action has been recognised in the latest news from The Leaders Council – an organisation which celebrates the hard work and achievements of organisations across the country.

You can read the Council’s story here:  https://www.leaderscouncil.co.uk/news/vaccine-rollout-covid-boosters-offer-leg-up-for-st-cuthbert-s-care. Including how Mary, our very own St Catherine’s songbird, brought us all together in song.

Moira, our CEO, is a member of the Council and was recently invited on to their podcast to discuss our rapid response to protect our residents when the pandemic
first hit.

If you have a spare 20 minutes or so, why not sit back and listen to how, as a leading social care charity, we responded to the Covid pandemic: https://youtu.be/XeLZGiXdesM
