Star baker, Nancy, who lives in our St Catherine’s nursing home, enjoyed a bit of festive fun at our latest cookery club gathering.
When our residents got together to make some tasty sweet mince pies, Nancy made it super-Christmassy by wearing some glittery specs to add some extra cheer.
“I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve baked sweet mince pies at Christmas,” laughed Nancy, “but this is the first time I’ve baked in sparkly glasses.”
Word from fellow residents is that Nancy’s sweet mince pies are the best they’ve ever tasted.
