Step aside, Susie Dent – residents at our St Catherine’s Nursing Home have been showing off their own linguistic flair, this week, as they set about cracking a crossword.
Sheila, Nancy, Diane and Mary joined our Wellbeing Co-ordinator, Jenny, in an afternoon of ups and downs (and even the odd across) as they worked as a team to perfect the puzzle.
“I love a good crossword,” said Sheila, “but it’s all the more fun when we work on one together. Everyone chipped in with answers, so it was a real team effort!”
All of that puzzling, and there wasn’t a cross word from anyone – well done, all.
