What a fantastic start to Learning Disability Awareness week 2022 as our Carolyn, who lives at our Independent Supported Living project and volunteers at our Alan Shearer Centre, celebrates her 47th birthday .
Always wanting to challenge herself, Carolyn, marked her special day by driving solo around a local racetrack at 60mph! “When you see Carolyn, you never see disability you only ever see ability.” Said Jackie Dunn, our disability lead. “She is a true inspiration to us all.”
