Taking a trip down memory lane is one of our Holy Cross residents’ favourite things to do – especially when it’s helped along with a few nostalgic songs.
Local entertainer, Sadie, was a massive hit with residents when she made a return visit to the home with her ‘Once Upon A Memory’ show. Her colourful outfits and popular songs were enough to brighten the dullest of February days and she soon had everyone singing along to hits by Doris Day, Connie Francis, Frank Sinatra and the Everly Brothers – to name a few.
“Sadie is a proper ray of sunshine when she visits us,” said Holy Cross Activities Co-ordinator, Clare Quinn. “Our residents love her and we’ve already booked her for the spring.”
