We loved welcoming Down Syndrome North East on their latest visit to our Alan Shearer Centre with everyone enjoying an afternoon packed with activities, laughter and loads of fun!
The group enjoyed exploring our sensory rooms, making a splash in the hydrotherapy pool and spending time in the café before sharing a brilliant singing and signing session with some of our members.
“Everyone had a great time,” said Recreation Assistant, Pauline. “One of our members was so caught up by the singing that she joined in and learned to sign some of the songs, too.”
