One of the young people living in our Auton children’s homes has stunned the entire staff team with her patience, determination – and natural abilities – to ride a bike.
Eleven-year-old M has never had a bike before so when the staff team presented her with one, she couldn’t wait to learn to ride it.
“We couldn’t believe how quickly she mastered it,” said Residential Care Officer, Helen. “She’d never had a bike, didn’t need stabilisers and mastered riding it after just five minutes!”
The entire staff team are so proud of her achievement and she’s rightly proud of herself, too.
